Where has the time gone?!

It's been quite awhile since I've blogged, guess I've been busy with school! I can't say there's been a whole lot happen in our lives the last couple of months, but it's fun to update you anyway.
In regards to school, I feel like I've boarded a runaway train!!! Fortunately, I only have to ride for two more weeks and then I'll get a much needed break before I start semester two of year one. Apparently, semester two is either going to make you or break you...I'm hoping to be made! But enough about me...
Caleb is doing really well in school and I can't believe how much he is learning! He's become such a good helper and such a polite, nice boy. Ethan turned four a few weeks ago and is doing quite good in preschool. He is a real hoot and keeps me on my toes!!
We were able to celebrate Thanksgiving in Worland with family and had a really nice time! We're looking forward to Christmas break and being able to see family again. Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving weekend.

Caleb's birthday weekend

We spent friday night and saturday in Gillette at my sister's house for Caleb's 7th birthday. We had a great time, ate good food, and enjoyed eachother's company. I can't believe Caleb is 7!!! He is a first grader and is doing really well in school with reading and math. He loves to build things, especially Legos, and draw and write, and he has a million questions about everything. He played flag football for the first time this year and really loved it. He can't wait to wear a helmet and tackle though! He is such a big helper too! He is such a wonderful boy and I am so glad to have him in our family. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
I took treats to Caleb's class on friday.

Brady, Caleb, Ethan, & Kaitlin dipping pretzels. They had a lot of fun and they were yummy!

Caleb with the ice cream cake Gretchen and I made. It was soooo good!

Caleb and Brady. Brady turned 9 on the 13th, so it was fun for them to celebrate together.

Caleb & Ethan with Molly the puppy. Of course we couldn't get her to sit still!

Back to School

Well, I can't believe summer is over, but I'm glad to be done working at Walmart and the kids were excited to start school! So, we just finished our first week...and it was a long one! Ethan started preschool, Caleb started 1st grade, and I started the dental hygiene program. We are out of the house every day by 7:25 and don't get home until after 5, so our days are long! Caleb is also playing flag football for the Woodland Park (his school) Packers. He loves it and has such a great time! Here's a few pictures...

Caleb lookin' good in his jersey and mouth guard.

First day of school for the boys.

Caleb at school, hanging up his backpack.

Here's just part of my stuff for school, still missing the majority of my books and my scrubs! Yikes!

Devil's Tower

The boys and I got together with my sister Gretchen and her kids and headed to Devil's Tower for the day. It was a great time with beautiful weather and scenery! We enjoyed the drive from Gillette, ate a picnic lunch, walked around the tower, and Caleb, Ethan, and Brady worked on there Junior Ranger Badges. We can't wait to get together with them again!

Summertime Fun

Brotherly Love

I just love this picture and had to post it!

My handsome guy

Caleb's been asking me for quite awhile to get him a white shirt and tie for church and I finally got it. If I had known how handsome he'd look, I would have done it sooner!

Another one gone

Caleb tried hanging on to his most recent loose tooth for quite sometime, even though it was practically hanging out of his mouth. But then he and Ethan got in a little brawl and Ethan elbowed him in the mouth and out came the tooth. I wasn't too excited about the way he lost it, but was thrilled to have that thing out of there! He was starting to resemble Nanny McFee (wish I had a before picture!).

Cabin Time

The boys and I were able to go to the Gorst cabin this weekend with my mom. We headed up thursday night and stayed through saturday morning. I was hoping to stay a little longer on saturday, but we had lots of rain and hail friday night and a storm which knocked the power out. After leaving the Gorst cabin we headed over to the Paris cabin with my Dad and Andrew and Josh. My cousins Tom and Dan and Uncle Charles were putting a new deck on the Paris cabin so all the boys and I headed out to fish with Tom's wife Lori and two boys Riley and Colter. We had a great time but got really wet and then froze! When it started hailing again and Ethan was worn out we headed home.
At the Gorst cabin we enjoyed a lot of wildlife. We had numerous moose come and go all day on friday and even had one come up to the door while we were inside! On saturday morning we saw a few deer. We also had the usual chipmunks, squirrels, camp robbers, and hummingbirds. We also went on a short walk and saw lots of flowers starting to bloom. I love going to the cabin and I hope we can make it back at least once more before the summer is over!

Girls Only!

A couple weeks ago my sisters (minus Jacque) and my Mom had the opportunity to get together again in Red Lodge. We are so thankful to Gretchen and Kyle for sharing their lovely house there! We met in Billings on thursday and shopped for our food and other stuff, we went to dinner at the Mustard Seed and we waited for Jessica's flight and then headed to RL. We didn't get there until about 1 am, we were SO tired! The rest of the weekend we had a great time cooking, eating, shopping, playing the Wii, watching movies, laughing, laughing, and more laughing, and just spending time together. We all headed home on sunday after dropping Ann and Jess at the airport in Billings. When I go home I always wish we could've stayed longer! Here are a few highlights from our trip...
