The Big Storm

It started snowing yesterday about 2 or 3 pm...a heavy, wet snow...and it snowed and snowed and snowed...and about 10 pm last night they declared a snow day for the schools, including the college (which is a huge deal! only the 3rd or 4th snow day in 30 years for the college!). And when we woke it was still snowing and all the roads were closed surrounding Sheridan and there was no unnecessary travel on all roads in Sheridan county. And about 11 am I finally ventured outside to discover just how much snow we got...then later in the afternoon, we bundled up and enjoyed playing in the snow until we were wet and freezing! However, by later afternoon the roads had cleared and we were able to drive to walmart for some necessities. Our huge storm was short-lived because we are back to school tomorrow. I'm hoping one of these days spring will be here to stay!

Wow! You got dumped on! It's supposed to be 81 here today! That's exactly why we moved here. ;) The kids and I will be in Worland the 4th of July and that week. Daniel is going to Catalina island for scout camp in June, so not sure if he'll come with us or not, probably not. As of yet the aunts are trying to decide if they want to come with.
